What’s your new role at RLA, and how are you settling into it?
Marketing Campaign Administrator. I look after the predictive marketing programme for a handful of our automotive clients – it’s pretty exciting stuff! Everyone in the barn is super friendly and they’ve all helped to make it feel like home.
What were your first impressions of your team?
They’re a lovely bunch, honestly. They’ve all adopted my ‘sad twix’ culture (don’t ask) and are some of the most hardworking, talented, caffeine-fuelled people I know.
What did you do before starting at RLA?
Latterly, I worked for an insurance company collaborating with the wider business on some digital projects and looking after a variety of digital comms. I really enjoyed it and worked with some amazing people, though I had my heart set on the thrillingworld of marketing, and thus started my next chapter at RLA.
What’s different about RLA so far?
Ducks, ponies, emus – to name a few. We recently had one of our clients come down to visit our office for the first time, and she called us to check whether she was lost or whether we were just really lucky…
…we’re just really lucky.
What’s your dream client?
I’m a big music fan – concerts, discovering new artists, questionable solo performances in the car, that kind of thing – so a client in the music industry would be awesome!
What do you get up to outside of work?
A lot of Netflixing, sometimes the cinema (like Netflix but involves leaving the house, very controversial), brunching and catching up with friends and family, procrastinating about going to the gym. Otherwise you’ll find me in a forest or on a beach walking the pooch.
What made you choose RLA?
The people, without a doubt. They continually teach and inspire me, but more importantly also have me in constant fits of laughter. Just great people doing great work.
If you could have a superpower what would it be, and why?
Clairvoyance – interpreting briefs would be a walk in the park.
What is your favourite movie, and why?
Hot Fuzz – an absolute CLASSIC with an abundance of iconic quotes and priceless humour.
